Russian invasion of Ukraine: updates from today
Russian troops invaded Ukraine, raining down missiles on cities, as explosions were heard, before dawn in Kyiv, Ukraine reported troops swarming across its borders into the eastern Chernihiv, Kharkiv & Luhansk regions. Russian troops also landed by sea at the port cities of Odessa & Mariupol in the south.
Russian forces m/w are fighting to take control of the nuclear plant in Chernobyl, putting Ukraine at a risk of nuclear disaster, while lives of as many as 40 Ukrainian soldiers and around 10 civilians have been lost, & Ukraine also claims to have killed 50 Russian occupiers.

Opener Kishan had survived a nasty blow on the helmet in the 2nd T20I between India and Sri Lanka. Kishan received a mandatory concussion check from the Indian physios after the star batter was hit on the helmet by Sri Lankan pacer Lahiru Kumara.

SC dismisses plea for cancellation of offline Board exams 2022
The SC went chup, bilkul chup, as they dismissed the plea seeking cancellation of offline exams for classes 10 & 12 to be conducted by all state boards, CBSE, ICSE & National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS).
The petition was heard by a bench headed by Justice AM Khanwilkar aka the same person who had overseen the conduct of exams based on the CBSE's 30:30:40 alternative evaluation criteria last year. SC said that these kinds of petitions were misleading, and gave "false hope" to students.

UEFA to move Champions League Final's venue from out of Russia
After Russia's invasion of Ukraine, footballing organization UEFA called an extraordinary meeting of its committee, and acc to sources, the Champions League final that was all set to take place in St. Petersburg in Russia, won't be happening there anymore.
The fans are completely w UEFA over this decision to change the venue of the final that was about to take place on May 28, and since it's the w prestigious Champions League ka final, Russia is probably gonna lose a lot of money from tourism & more.
HSC exams of Maharashtra postponed as question papers catch fire...👀
The Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) exams of the Maharashtra State Board will most likely be postponed as the truck carrying the question papers for this exam caught fire yesterday, and it will now take time for them to be reprinted.
Iss fire mein, the Chairperson of the Maharashtra State Board told that 1/9 divisions ke question papers were destroyed and since the exams were scheduled to be held b/w March 5 and 7, time kam hone ki wajah se, they will need to create new sets and print them, hence the postponement.
